What, Where and When: This half day clinic will meet at the pull off at the intersection of FS1206 (Yellow Gap Road) and FS 476 (Gauging Station Road) near the Wolf Ford Horse Camp. Do not block any gates. Do not park in the campground. Riders will be expected to be ready to ride at 10 am on Saturday September 12, 2026. You should come prepared with enough snacks for a full day of riding. I recommend bringing a real lunch as well as at the least 70oz of water.

Who: This clinic is for Intermediate/Advanced riders who have been on Pilot Rock trail but are walking some or most of the corners as well as the rock garden. We’ll ride/hike a bike up the trail sessioning the corners and the rock garden along the way. Once we get to the top, we’ll turn around and shred back down as a group re-sessioning corners or the rock garden as needed. This is for folx who want to learn to ride this trail better with a group of supportive riders who have fun. My goal is for this clinic to feel like riding and sessioning Pilot with a group of 4 fun supportive friends. You may even come out of this clinic with a new friend or two!

Participant benefits: I use video analysis during the clinic to help riders improve their skills. All riders will receive a link to all of the photos and videos taken during the clinic. Participants will receive a thorough write up of the skills and maneuvers learned during the clinic so that riders may use them to continue their learning beyond this clinic.
