CHECK-IN:
I recommend coming to your session 15 - 20 minutes prior to the start to give yourself time to get ready to ride and to give me a few minutes to do a safety check and fit inspection of your bike.
EQUIPMENT:
All clients must arrive with an appropriate, well maintained, fully functioning mountain bike fit for technical off-road use. All clients must wear a helmet that is certified to the CPSC standard at all times while on a bike. It is recommended that clients also wear protective eye-wear, gloves, knee, and elbow pads. A small pack is useful for carrying spare clothing, food, water, and equipment. Clients should be aware that they could be riding in wild and hostile environments where weather can change suddenly and without warning.
FACILITIES:
Not all session locations have bathroom facilities available so please plan ahead and come prepared to go out in nature.
MEDICAL AND OTHER CONCERNS:
Mountain biking is an inherently dangerous sport with unpredictable risks. Minor injuries (scrapes, sprains, scratches, and bruises) can occur, as well as major injuries (concussions, broken bones, and heart attacks). There is always a chance of catastrophic injuries including paralysis and death. All clients are required to sign the EndlessBikeGirl MTB Skills Instruction waiver and by doing so they are indicating that they understand and agree to assuming responsibility for the risks and dangers of the sport of mountain biking and that they know of no personal disability or medical condition, physical or mental, which may affect their ability to take part in the lesson. EndlessBikeGirl MTB Skills Instruction will provide students with training in an appropriately safe working environment and provide them with a fully qualified and insured coach or guide. Clients will not be placed under any pressure to perform skills yet it is advisable to check that your insurance policy covers adventure activities. Clients should ride within their own riding experience and limits. EndlessBikeGirl MTB Skills LLC accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury to persons or property who are participating in an EndlessBikeGirl MTB Skills activity.
