This Advanced Skill Clinic day is the last of my 2024 Pisgah Skills series. This one comes with a prerequisite. To register for this clinic it is imperative that you have ridden Turkey Pen trail. This is a huge day with Turkey Pen being an incredibly steep and technical trail. We will climb up Black Mountain Trail to Presley Gap where we will work on technical braking and efficient and stable descending body position. We will then continue climbing to Turkey Pen trail sessioning as necessary to become more efficient climbers in these technical sections and then we will descend Turkey Pen Trail. This is a remote trail in Pisgah that is rarely ridden or maintained. We will work on being more efficient on the hike-a-bikes and will session the technical bits downhill working on line choice and becoming more proficient at being stable and balanced and in control on these very steep technical descents. This is a remote trail with little cell reception so riders need to understand the physical and mental difficulty of this particular clinic. For the sake of all riders safety and learning this pre-requisite needs to be in place for this particular clinic. Riders can sign up for this clinic and will be contacted by Shanna after sign up for more info and payment of $295.00 USD will be taken at that time. The rider maximum for this clinic is 4 riders. Transfer/cancellation fee of $75.00 will be necessary if riders need to cancel or transfer registration of this clinic at any time after payment is made. This registration is for the waitlist.
