This intermediate/advanced clinic will focus on the North Mills River trails that are included in the Pisgah Productions 111K mountain bike race and the skills and maneuvers required to successfully ride all of the trail features. We’ll climb 5000, learn and practice a pedaling wheel lift and efficient climbing skills, session the technical root fields on Spencer Gap, refresh stability and balance at the top then session any technical features as needed on the descent down Spencer Gap likely sessioning the corners as well. From the bottom, we’ll take the never ending road to Fletcher Creek trail sessioning any features as necessary as well as working on applying skills such as terrain awareness and techniques such as standing front wheel lifts down fletcher creek. From the reservoir we’ll head over to the bottom of Trace Ridge and take that to the seldom ridden Yellow Gap trail to 1206 back to our cars. There is no pre-requisite for this clinic. There is a maximum of 6 riders for this clinic so folx get the benefit of small group instruction. Transfer/cancellation fee of $75.00 will be necessary if riders need to cancel or transfer registration of this clinic at any time after payment is made.
